Donovan Dijak’s first match since his WWE departure has been officially confirmed following a recent announcement.
After spending seven years in the company, Dijak confirmed in a statement posted to Twitter on June 27 that he would be departing WWE at the end of his contract on June 28.
Despite that announcement coming less than a week ago, he former WWE star has started off life as a free agent extremely fast, appearing at a Blitzkrieg Pro event on the day his WWE deal expired.
He would also be confirmed for several indie bookings and even reportedly attending AEW Forbidden Door in Long Island, NY on June 30.
Adding to his increasingly busy calendar, Dijak has now been confirmed for what will be his first match post-WWE – with Beyond Wrestling announcing him to compete at their July 4 Americanrana show in Worcester, MA.
Dijak’s opponent at the event has been confirmed to be Aaron Rourke, who has competed for GCW, Create-A-Pro, wXw and many more promotions across a six year career.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Dijak’s future moves as/when they become available.
