WWE’s Big E has shared a tribute to the late AEW star Brodie Lee, thanking Amanda Huber for keeping his legacy alive.
Brodie Lee, formerly Luke Harper in WWE, passed away on December 26, 2020, with it later being revealed he had died due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
On July 1, 2024, a collaboration between AEW and Reebok was announced in the form of Brodie Lee themed footwear.
With the new AEW x Reebok Classic Leather Brodie Lee edition now available, Preston Vance shared a thank you message to the late star.
WWE’s Big E has now followed suit with a message of his own, sharing images of the inside of the footwear on Twitter and writing:
“What a beautiful tribute to an amazing human.
“Thank you, @MandaLHuber, for making sure his legacy remains strong.”
In March 2024, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of an AEW Hall of Fame and named Lee, along with Sting, as the first two people he would induct.
Cody Rhodes also shared a heartfelt message about Lee after a highlight package of their Dog Collar Match was shared on Twitter.
During his time in AEW, Lee was a TNT Champion, with his career in WWE seeing him hold the Intercontinental Championship.
As Luke Harper, he would also be a two-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion and NXT Tag Team Champion.
