SmackDown Star Says He Has Unfinished Business With Johnny Gargano WWE

A WWE SmackDown star says he has unfinished business with Johnny Gargano.

In the 2023 WWE Draft, Grayson Waller was called up from WWE NXT to the Friday Night SmackDown brand.

Before making the move to the main roster, Waller was involved in a very personal rivalry against Johnny Gargano that saw the former NXT Champion defeated “The Arrogant Aussie” in an Unsanctioned Match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Despite suffering this big loss during WrestleMania 39 weekend, it seems the issue between these two is not completely settled as of yet.

In a new interview with WWE Die Woche, Waller revealed that he would like another crack at Johnny Wrestling. He said:

“That hurt, man. That sucked. When you go into an Unsanctioned Match, those matches are not fun. I didn’t sleep that night, I didn’t sleep on the plane home.”

“As [many] horrible things as I said about Johnny Gargano, that guy is legit. That guy is the man in a lot of ways.”

“He made me pay for a lot of the things I said, and I can’t wait to make him regret those decisions day. I really hope that’s a match that happens on the main roster one day.”

“I think me and Gargano have unfinished business. I think we need to do it in front of a bigger audience.”

Grayson Waller is currently on the SmackDown brand, while Johnny Gargano is a member of the Raw roster.
