Non-Contracted Talent ‘Almost Immediately Left’ AEW Collision AEW

Last night’s (August 12) episode of AEW Collision saw a big AEW Trios Championship main event match, with CMFTR facing off against the House of Black.

That was far from the only match on the show, with the Acclaimed and Samoa Joe both winning matches in short order against the Iron Savages and Andrew Everett respectively.

In an update on the show per Fightful Select (subscription required), there was another non-contracted talent set for the show who did not appear.

Fightful reports that a non-contracted talent that was brought in for the show ‘almost immediately left’.

Fightful is working on providing more information on the situation as it becomes available.

CM Punk also made headlines after last night’s Collision show, when he ranted about Hangman Adam Page in a promo that he cut for the live crowd.

Punk is seemingly set for a clash with Samoa Joe at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on August 27.

Joe appeared during last night’s Collision main event, choking out Punk to allow the House of Black to retain the Trios Championship.
