WWE There has been an update on WWE’s top merchandise sellers, and how LA Knight factors into the equation.
It was recently reported that Knight was the company’s top merchandise seller for the month of July, with his shirts taking up three of the top five spots.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), Fightful has learned more information on who the top sellers are at WWE Live Events.
Per Fightful, Cody Rhodes has been the top of several lists, with him sometimes having multiple items in the top five.
A big shift in sales was caused by the split of the Bloodline, as the group was often grouped together, which would have included Roman Reigns, Usos and collective Bloodline merchandise in one group.
With those numbers split now, the Usos have reportedly been doing ‘incredibly well’, selling more than any talent besides Cody.
World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is also a name that pops up regularly in the top five lists, with Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley also appearing on lists that Fightful saw.
Generic ‘WWE’ merchandise is almost always the top sellers on the lists, which includes title belts, tour shirts and similar items.
Toy title belts are said to specifically sell incredibly well, with Cody Rhodes weight belts and Usos ‘We The Ones’ also being big sellers.
In regards to LA Knight, the majority of his sales are said to have come digitally via the partnership with third party outlets.
On those lists, Knight is said to have individual shirts that are right up there with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, though the lists often seen emerging from the best sellers aspect do not equate for live events, where Rhodes, Reigns and the other names listed move merchandise more heavily.
Fightful also learned that here was a point of contention internally recently in regards to the lack of merchandise for LA Knight at certain live shows as of late.
