WWE Several WWE stars including a current champion appeared on an NFL preseason game tonight to promote WrestleMania 40.
At tonight’s NFL preseason game where in Philadelphia the Eagles were taking on the Cleveland Browns, three familiar faces popped up on screen.
Being interviewed at the game in support of the upcoming WrestleMania 40 event in Philadelphia this April, an interesting trio of WWE stars were featured in a segment.
Current NXT star Trick Williams, SmackDown star Grayson Waller and Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER all appeared to hype up WWE’s turn in Philadelphia for WrestleMania 40 in 2024.
While it might seem unusual that current NXT star Trick Williams was there, you will remember that at last year’s WrestleMania kick-off event held in conjunction with WrestleMania 39 tickets going on sale, Santos Escobar was also featured despite still being on NXT at the time.
By the time WrestleMania 39 rolled around however, Santos Escobar was on the main roster, a part of the hugely popular Latino World Order stable and appeared at ringside in support of WWE legend Rey Mysterio for his winning bout against his son Dominik.
Can’t wait to see what Trick Williams could be up to by April 2024! However we already know what is next for Grayson Waller.
Waller meets up with the aforementioned Rey Mysterio on tomorrow’s edition of WWE SmackDown (August 18) where Rey is set to appear on the ‘Grayson Waller Effect’ after besting Austin Theory to become the new United States Champion.
