The viewership figure and demo rating for Friday’s (September 8) edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX has been revealed.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, SmackDown drew 2.094 million viewers. This is down from the September 1 edition that drew 2.443 million viewers.
In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s episode scored 0.53 rating. This is also down from the week prior that scored 0.55 rating.
The show featured AJ Styles defeating Jey Uso in the main event. Post match, The Judgment Day jumped Styles for Solo Sikoa to hit the Samoan Spike to end the show.
This followed Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and Damian Priest with Dominik Mysterio in their corner defeating The Brawling Brutes. Post match, The Judgment Day was confronted by Bobby Lashley and Street Profits.
Also, Asuka made her return to distract Damage CTRL in their loss against Shotzi and Charlotte Flair. This sets up IYO SKY defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Asuka on the September 22 episode.
