Update On WWE Star Missing From SmackDown

Update On WWE Star Missing From SmackDown WWE

There has been an update on a WWE star that was missing from this week’s SmackDown.

When there was a backstage beatdown on WWE SmackDown (September 22) inflicted upon AJ Styles by Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, there was was seemingly little support from his faction, The OC.

However, it is more clear why one member of the faction was still incognito.

Fans may have remembered that last week Michael Cole noted that Luke Gallows was injured but the extent was not revealed.

With Karl Anderson and ‘Michin’ Mia Yim in a scene with John Cena as Styles was being taken away from the arena in an ambulance, there was still no sight of Gallows.

According to Fightful Select, Gallows is out of action due to a knee injury with more medical details now known.

Luke Gallows last saw in ring action over a month ago, teaming with the OC in Quebec, and according to Fightful’s sources, Gallows had to get his knee scoped.

The time out of action is about six weeks, but there wasn’t clear information regarding when the procedure took place, either shortly after his last in-ring appearance or more recently – and it’s also unknown whether it’s six weeks from the procedure, or six weeks from right now.

We’ll bring you any additional updates as they become available but everyone wishes Luke Gallows all the best in his recovery.

After Styles got taken out in the segment, John Cena would be left prone to a total beatdown by the Bloodline.

While the show went off the air with the Bloodline standing tall, it wasn’t originally planned to end that way.

LA Knight was actually originally planned to save Cena, but was pulled from the show due to COVID-19 – more details can be found at this link.
