WWE/AEW There is high praise for a recently released WWE star within All Elite Wrestling according to a new report.
According to Fightful Select, even before one WWE star was released from the company, there were others in AEW already pushing for him to be recruited over.
Fightful notes that Shelton Benjamin has numerous supporters amongst the talent in AEW hoping that he would join the company in some capacity.
Not only that but several months ago when there was some erroneous rumors that Benjamin’s contract was set to expire soon, there were talent ‘pushing’ for him to join.
While it is unclear if AEW is seeking more talent, one area they are actively attempting to bulk up are the field of producers.
With Fightful reporting that sources have separately shared that AEW is looking is looking to add producers with the eventual goal to have enough that each producer can work one match per show.
It is a big weekend for AEW as they invade Seattle, Washington for Saturday’s AEW Collision (September 30) and Sunday’s pay-per-view, WrestleDream.
