AEW A big winning streak came to an end during a championship match at tonight’s October 1 AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view.
In the third match on the main show, the TBS Title was on the line with Kris Statlander defending against Julia Hart.
Statlander was coming in with a 19-match winning streak in singles matches, while Hart was on a 28-match winning streak of her own.
One of those obviously had to be broken, and it ended up being Hart’s, as Statlander retained her championship.
Statlander was actually the last person to have beaten Hart before Hart’s winning streak began back in April 2022.
Elsewhere on the show far, MJF retained the ROH World Tag Team Championship in a handicap match against The Righteous, and Eddie Kingston retained both the ROH World Championship and NJPW Strong Openweight Championship over Katsuyori Shibata.
