AEW Star’s Contract Has Expired, Gone From The Company

AEW Star’s Contract Has Expired, Gone From The Company AEW

After an AEW star was removed from the roster page recently, it has emerged his contract has expired and he’s gone from the company.

This is an update on a story from yesterday as there was a removal from the public AEW roster page on the company’s official website.

That removal came in the form of Zack Clayton, and we now know the reason why.

As reported by PWInsider, Clayton’s AEW contract has come to an end and hasn’t been renewed.

Clayton had been a regular on AEW’s Dark and Elevation shows while they were running, and announced on Dark a year ago he’d signed a deal with AEW.

Despite being a regular on Dark and Elevation and signing a deal with the company, he only ever had one match on AEW TV, which was a 14-second loss to HOOK on Rampage in August 2022.

He did work a few matches for ROH in the past few months, his last being a loss to Dalton Castle at the July 29 tapings.

Clayton came into AEW already being known from Jersey Shore, and his Twitter bio also notes him as an ambassador for nonprofit organization Kulture City, which AEW works with to provide sensory support to those who need it during shows.
