WWE A WWE name has confirmed that despite appearing on SmackDown, they have NOT been called up to the main roster.
Last night on WWE SmackDown, NXT head referee Darryl Sharma was in the ring as a referee and fans took notice online.
However he took to Twitter to inform that he was in fact just ‘visiting’ SmackDown for the night and he would be back to NXT soon.
Actually, very soon with his next appearance set for night two of NXT Halloween Havoc.
His appearance from night one was notable as after Chase U (Duke Hudson and Andre Chase) won the NXT Tag Team Championship from Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, the ref got caught in the celebration.
While he was raising the hand of the new champ, recent part-time Chase U student Jacy Jayne swooped in to shove him out of the way.
WWE NXT night two of Halloween Havoc is set for October 31 and will feature an NXT Championship match featuring Ilja Dragunov putting his title on the line against Carmelo Hayes.
