WWE Seth Rollins has made statement about WWE WrestleMania 40, claiming one of his matches will be his first ‘main event’ at the PLE.
At the time of writing, Rollins is scheduled to be in two matches across both nights of the event.
On April 6, he will tag with Cody Rhodes to take on The Bloodline (The Rock & Roman Reigns), while the following night sees him defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre.
Speaking at the Lafayette leg of the Road to WrestleMania live shows on March 10, 2024, after the show (in footage that can be seen below), Rollins stated:
“I know I had that big cash-in at WrestleMania 31, kind of snuck my way into the main event, but this year will be what I consider to be my first WrestleMania main event.”

The fans were behind Rollins with their “You deserve it chants” on a show that had also seen Rollins and Cody Rhodes team up to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso of The Bloodline.
At WrestleMania 31 in March 2015, Rollins cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, as can be seen in the footage below this news story.
The Night 1 match at WrestleMania 40 has some high stakes for Cody Rhodes on Night 2 of WrestleMania.
If Rhodes & Rollins are victorious, all members of The Bloodline will be banned from ringside on April 7.
A win for The Rock & Roman Reigns, however, would mean that the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match would be Bloodline Rules.
