WWE Another inductee into the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame has been confirmed, with the ceremony taking place this Friday.
The Rock made the announcement on Instagram that he will be inducting his grandmother Lia Maivia into the WWE Hall of Fame
Rock wrote:
I’m honored to announce, that I will be inducting my grandmother, Lia Maivia, into the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2024.
One of the first ever female promoters of professional wrestling.
She was a trail blazer.
She was a protector of our family.
She was the real Final Boss.
Lia Maivia joins a 2024 Hall of Fame class made up of Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, Muhammad Ali, the US Express (Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham), and Thunderbolt Patterson.
The ceremony will take place live right after SmackDown on April 5.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates, although there have been no further names rumored to be added to this year’s Hall of Fame class beyond Bray Wyatt, with the decision being not to induct him this year.
