WWE Jason Kelce got involved in a match at WWE WrestleMania 40 night one tonight in Philadelphia (April 6) at Lincoln Financial Field.
At tonight’s WrestleMania 40, there was a big tag match featuring Rey Mysterio teaming with Andrade el Idolo to represent the LWO taking on Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio, representing Legado del Fantasma.
With both warring factions at ringside, bedlam ensued during the match however it was after Santos Escobar told Dominik Mysterio he could hit Rey with a chair that things took a mysterious turn.
Two large masked luchadores would stop Dominik from attacking Rey and end up giving the assist to the elder Mysterio who would pick up the win on behalf of the LWO.
When the luchadors unmasked however, they were revealed to be well known NFL players from the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WrestleMania 40, Rhea Ripley retained her WWE Women’s World Championship in a match against Becky Lynch.
The six-pack ladder match yielded two new teams holding gold as Grayson Waller and Austin Theory won the SmackDown Tag Team titles and R-Truth and the Miz won the Raw Tag Team titles.
Still to come, GUNTHER puts his Intercontinental Championship on the line as Sami Zayn hopes to end the longest Intercontinental title reign in WWE history, and of course the big main event featuring The Rock and Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
