WWE Star Responds To Character Being Called A ‘Waste Of Time’

WWE NXT star Tatum Paxley has reacted to criticisms surrounding her character following her recent heel turn.

Following months of being Lyra Valkyria’s obsessive friend, Paxley attacked Valkyria on Tuesday’s (April 16) edition of NXT.

Dave Meltzer criticised Paxley’s direction on Wrestling Observer Radio, stating:

“I hate that character. Hate it. It’s just a waste of time.

“It sucked (with Alexa Bliss). Then Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn did it, and it wasn’t good with them either, and she’s the worst out of all of them.”

Paxley has now taken to Twitter to retweet WrestleTalk’s post summarising Meltzer’s comments.

Hyping up her upcoming title match, Paxley captioned her post:

AND I have a match next Tuesday where I’m gonna throw Rox at a bird. Don’t miss it🥰 tee hee!

Paxley and Valkyria will challenge for Roxanne Perez’ NXT Women’s Championship in a three-way match at next week’s (April 23) NXT Spring Breakin’ show.

Roxanne Perez defeated Valkyria to win the NXT Women’s Title during the April 6 Stand & Deliver event.
