WWE A nixed pitch surrounding WWE SmackDown star Tiffany Stratton’s presentation has now been revealed, during her first year on the main roster.
While Stratton shone as a top prospect during her NXT run, the former NXT Women’s Champion has significantly grown in popularity since arriving on SmackDown in February.
With many fans now chanting for Tiffy Time, it’s hard to imagine Tiffany Stratton with a different ring name.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Stratton revealed that “Veronica Swanson” was another name pitched for her, which she ultimately didn’t end up using.
Stratton, whose real name is Jessica Woynilko, practiced gymnastics for several years ahead of signing with WWE in August 2021.
She made her professional wrestling debut that November at a 205 Live taping, as Tiffany Stratton.
Following a few months on the blue brand, the popular star was selected by SmackDown during the second round of the WWE Draft.
Stratton is slated to challenge for the WWE Women’s Championship at Backlash 2024. She will face off against Naomi and current champion Bayley in a three way match for the gold.
If she wins the WWE Women’s Title, it’ll be Stratton’s second ever title win in WWE, following her NXT Women’s Title reign in 2023.
