Nick Aldis Addresses WWE Reunion With Former Rival

WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has shared a message for Cody Rhodes, following their recent reunion.

Aldis shared the ring with the Undisputed WWE Champion on Friday’s (May 10) edition of SmackDown. During this appearance, Aldis revealed that Rhodes will face off against US Champion Logan Paul at King & Queen of the Ring.

Nick Aldis has now taken to Twitter to share a throwback photo from a previous NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship match against Cody Rhodes.

Greeting his former rival, Aldis said:

Hello again, old friend…

Nick Aldis notably defended the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title against Cody Rhodes at the original All In event in September 2018.

Rhodes defeated Aldis on this occasion to win the championship which his late father held.

Rhodes and Aldis had a 2/3 falls rematch for the title at the NWA 70th Anniversary Show, during which Aldis defeated Rhodes two falls to one to win back the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

Cody Rhodes is currently in his first reign with the Undisputed WWE Title, which he won at WrestleMania 40 to finish his story.
