Injured AEW Star ‘Behind Schedule’ For In-Ring Return

A new report has revealed that injured AEW star and former TNT Champion Miro is currently “behind schedule” for his in-ring return.

At AEW Worlds End, Miro defeated Andrade El Idolo thanks to an assist from his wife CJ Perry.

Since then, the former TNT Champion has been out of action and off of AEW television. It was later revealed that Miro was out with an injury.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that AEW had hoped that Miro would be back in the spring.

However, Miro’s injury is currently behind schedule for his recovery and return to the ring.

In an interview earlier this year, Miro revealed that he is currently recovering from a shoulder injury and an elbow injury.

It remains to be seen when “The Redeemer” will make his return to AEW programming at the time of this writing.
