Ahead of this Sunday’s pay-per-view, AEW star Deonna Purrazzo had made a challenge for Double Or Nothing 2024.
On the April 27 edition of AEW Rampage, Thunder Rosa defeated Deonna Purrazzo. Post match, Purrazzo attacked Rosa from behind, leading to a pull-apart brawl between the two.
Since then, the two women have taken part in some intense interactions with Deonna embracing more of her heel side that led to her becoming a multi-time TNA Knockouts World Champion.
On the May 24 edition of AEW Rampage, Renee Paquette interviewed Deonna Purrazzo, who issued a challenge to Thunder Rosa for a rematch on the AEW Double Or Nothing Zero Hour pre-show.
Following the interview, Purrazzo took to social media to state that she plans on ending Rosa to start this Sunday’s pay-per-view. She wrote:
My first #AEWDoN, let’s start the show by ending you.

The match has been made official for this Sunday’s card.
AEW Double Or Nothing 2024 will be headlined by a “Triple Main Event” as The Elite will face Team AEW in Anarchy In The Arena, Swerve Strickland will defend the AEW World Title against Christian Cage, and Mercedes Mone will challenge Willow Nightingale for the TBS Title.
