Drew McIntyre has sent a message to Damian Priest following the announcement of their World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Clash at the Castle 2024.
After Damian Priest officially accepted Drew McIntyre’s challenge for a title match a few weeks ago on Raw, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H made the match official during the King & Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.
For the very first time McIntyre will challenge for a world championship in his home country of Scotland, and will no doubt have the backing of the Glasgow crowd in doing so.
In response to the news, McIntyre made sure to send a reminder to Priest of just what is in store for him at Clash at the Castle, in what could prove to be a frosty atmosphere for the World Heavyweight Champion.
Posting to Twitter, McIntyre uploaded a picture of John Cena’s iconic entrance for his WWE Championship bout with RVD at One Night Stand 2006 – in what was perhaps the most hostile crowd reaction in company history.
Alongside the image of Cena, McIntyre made sure to also take a playful jab at Priest – writing on Twitter:

As of now, Priest vs. McIntyre is the only confirmed bout for Clash at the Castle, however, another title match has been heavily teased – click here for full details.
