WWE Before the end of King & Queen of the Ring, a title match was set for the next episode of WWE Raw on May 27, 2024.
After losing the WWE Women’s World Championship at King & Queen of the Ring, Becky Lynch has vowed to reclaim the title on this week’s Raw.
In the opening match of tonight’s May 25 PLE, Becky Lynch lost her title to Liv Morgan after some hijinks featuring Dominik Mysterio.
Mysterio appeared in Jeddah unannounced, first telling Morgan in a backstage segment he flew all the way there just to prevent her from winning Mami’s title, and later appeared at ringside during the match.
However, his interference didn’t appear to go as planned when he slid a chair to Becky Lynch, signaling to her that she should hit Morgan with it as he went to distract the referee.
With the referee’s back turned, instead Lynch ended up being driven into it by Morgan, leading into Morgan hitting her finisher and winning the match.
In a backstage interview segment, Byron Saxton was then on hand to ask for a reaction from Becky Lynch, after she was done berating Dominik Mysterio.
Lynch said she didn’t know what had just happened but she has a rematch clause in her contract that she absolutely plans on using on this coming Monday’s Raw to get the title back from Liv Morgan.
