Adam Cole AEW In-Ring Return Update AEW

Ahead of tonight’s AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, Tony Khan has provided an update on Adam Cole’s AEW in-ring return.

Signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2021, former WWE star Adam Cole quickly established himself as a top star for Tony Khan’s promotion.

The current leader of the Undisputed Kingdom faction has been sidelined with an ankle injury since the September 20 Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite.

Cole hurt himself after landing a small jump off the ramp while running to rescue MJF during his AEW World Title Match against Samoa Joe.

Speaking with CBS Sports, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan provided an update on Adam Cole’s injury and his potential in-ring return. He said:

“He’s not 100% but he’s getting better and better,”

“I think that’s great news for AEW. We love Adam Cole and the fans love Adam Cole. He’s been a big part of the company now for almost three years of our five-year journey.”

“It’s crazy to think Adam Cole, a year ago at this time, really felt like he was getting towards the top of the wrestling world.”

“I would love to get Adam Cole back in the ring and he works so hard on his rehab. He really wants to get back in the ring. I think that would be a great thing for AEW.”

Adam Cole’s former tag team partner, MJF has been making headlines after a report indicated that he is nearing his AEW return, which you can read here.
