AEW/WWE Current AEW International Champion Will Ospreay has dropped a potential tease ahead of WWE star Ricochet’s contract expiration.
Since arriving in All Elite Wrestling, Will Ospreay has expressed his interest in seeing current WWE star Ricochet making the move to the company in a previous interview, which you can read here.
Fightful Select recently reported that Ricochet’s WWE contract is set to expire next month.
Following the report, Ospreay took to social media to drop a potential tease of the former WWE Intercontinental Champion making the jump to AEW.
The current AEW International Champion posted a photo of himself shaking hands with Ricochet from their famous bout in the NJPW Best of Super Juniors tournament in 2016.
It remains to be seen if Ricochet will leave WWE despite the contract expiry at the time of this writing.
Will Ospreay will defend the AEW International Championship against Kyle O’Reilly on the June 1 edition of AEW Collision. He will then challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Title on Sunday, June 30 at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
