WWE The status of Becky Lynch in WWE was addressed on tonight’s episode of Raw (June 3) as her absence was directly referenced.
Tonight’s WWE Raw kicked off with Liv Morgan explaining her kiss with Dominik Mysterio which ended last week’s episode and went viral.
Michael Cole highlighted the fact that the kiss between Morgan and Mysterio garnered the attention of over 50 million views on social media.
In the segment Liv Morgan mentioned having pushed Becky Lynch into “early retirement” – providing an explanation for Becky Lynch’s absence – amid Morgan’s list of achievements on her ‘Revenge Tour’.
In reality, Becky Lynch’s WWE contract has expired and she is reportedly taking an extended break.
However, after Liv mentioned the kiss, Dominik Mysterio’s music hit as he joined the conversation, met by thunderous and interrupting crowd boos.
Liv told Dominik that she meant what she said, she planned on taking everything from Rhea Ripley… including him!
Cornering Dom in the ring, she would begin to caress his face before the pair were interrupted by Finn Balor.
Balor told Liv Morgan to go away and that Dominik didn’t want anything to do with her, in fact no one from the Judgment Day did.
While Morgan would relent, she made sure to leave Dominik stunned as she ran her hands through his luscious mullet on the way out of the ring.
Later in the show, there was a backstage interview with Lynch’s ally Lyra Valkyria, who spoke about Lynch’s loss to Morgan last week, saying:
“She’s disappointed. But I know Becky – Becky’s at her best when people think they have her beat.
“And she’ll take that loss, and she’ll come back around and use it to make herself better. Because that’s how winning is done. Real winning. Something Liv Morgan knows nothing about.”
