WWE A WWE match was cancelled with an update announced on-air during tonight’s episode of NXT on the USA Network.
Ahead of their NXT Tag Team Championship defense at the upcoming NXT Battleground premium live event, Axiom and Nathan Frazer were spotted before NXT in the merch trailer.
Signing autographs for fans, they were attacked by their upcoming challengers Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows inside the merch trailer and pulled to the outside.
A fight ensued, and in the end, the champs would end the segment having taken the brunt of the blows while security arrived to pull away Gallows and Anderson.
It was revealed by commentary later that the Good Brothers would not be appearing on tonight’s WWE NXT after their ‘planned match’ was cancelled and they were banned from the building by General Manager Ava.
No match was announced for Gallows and Anderson ahead of time, so it seems the inclusion of that line was just part of the angle.
Axiom and Nathan Frazer look to hold off the main roster stars when they put their NXT Tag Team Championship on the line at Battleground this Sunday, June 9.
