Absent AEW Star Teases Answering Forbidden Door Challenge?

Following Jeff Cobb’s NJPW World TV Title defence, absent AEW star Sammy Guevara has teased answering a Forbidden Door challenge.

At NJPW Dominion 2024, Jeff Cobb defeated Tomohiro Ishii to retain the NJPW World TV Championship.

After his successful title defence, Cobb made a challenge to anyone from All Elite Wrestling for a shot at the gold.

In response to a post about Cobb’s post match comments, former three-time TNT Champion Sammy Guevara replied to the tweet with photos of his past matches with the current NJPW World TV Champion.

The two men have faced each other in the past in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla back in 2017 before either signed with AEW or NJPW.

Guevara has been absent from All Elite Wrestling since being suspended following his match with Jeff Hardy on AEW Rampage in February 2024.

It remains to be seen who will answer Jeff Cobb’s NJPW World TV Championship challenge for Forbidden Door at the time of this writing but we will post further updates as/when they become available.
