AEW Star Would ‘Love’ To Wrestle Becky Lynch

An AEW star has revealed that they would ‘love’ to wrestle Becky Lynch in AEW as Lynch is reportedly no longer under contract with WWE.

When a fan asked Tay Melo her thoughts on the possibility of Becky Lynch in AEW after the former WWE Women’s World Champion became a free agent, she had an intriguing response.

Responding to the question from a fan, Tay Melo wrote:

“👀 She is such an inspiration, got back after pregnancy and showed everyone you can be a mom & have a successful career.. and I would LOVE to wrestle her.”

Melo is of course on her own path back to wrestling after giving birth, having been out of action since March 2023.

Lynch’s absence on this past week’s episode of WWE Raw was referenced on the show by Liv Morgan with Morgan claiming to have put Becky ‘into early retirement’, and also by Lyra Valkyria.

Lynch remains on WWE’s current roster page as of this writing.

Recently Bianca Belair commented on Becky Lynch’s absence, saying that she is ‘super supportive’ of whatever Lynch chooses to do in her future, also highlighting her accomplishments in the industry.

Lynch for her part has not commented on her future plans beyond a photo of herself leaving the building on May 27 with the caption, ‘To be continued.’
