Former WWE Star Spotted At NXT Battleground

A former WWE star currently working for TNA was spotted in attendance in Las Vegas at tonight’s NXT Battleground premium live event.

With WWE hosting its first ever PLE at Las Vegas’ UFC Apex, there has been at least one TNA sighting so far (other than Jordynne Grace).

Gail Kim was spotted taking in the show at tonight’s NXT Battleground as she was present for the show’s opening.

Kim is a former WWE Women’s Champion, and currently works in a backstage capacity at TNA.

Set for later tonight at NXT Battleground, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will take on NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez as the companies continue to forge a working relationship.

Thus far, only Grace has had two matches in WWE this year – the Royal Rumble in January, and two appearances on NXT television for the past two weeks, including a win over Stevie Turner.

Already tonight at Battleground, a six-woman ladder match to determine the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion.

In the match – Michin, Jaida Parker, Fallon Henley, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan and Lash Legend.

In the end, Kelani Jordan was able to climb the ladder to become the inaugural champion.
