WWE There are a number of WWE tag teams right now that look like they could be on the verge of splitting up.
From current champions, to former champions, to partners for almost a decade, Triple H doesn’t seem to be afraid of breaking teams up if he thinks it’ll work out for the best.
Here are six WWE tag teams that look to be going their separate ways.
6. WWE Tag Team Champions Austin Theory & Grayson Waller (A-Town Down Under)
One of the most inevitable tag team break-ups in WWE right now is actually that of the current WWE Tag Team Champions.
For several weeks now, it’s been clear that the story is leading to an Austin Theory babyface turn, and that point was driven home on the latest episode of SmackDown.
Johnny Gargano, former mentor of Austin Theory in The Way in NXT, said that he was proud of what Theory has managed to accomplish on his own, but he’s being used by Waller right now, and the fans did actually seem to be warming to Theory.
If you see what Theory does outside of the ring with the charity work and things like that, he’s clearly suited to being a good guy, and that doesn’t see to have gone unnoticed by WWE management who are looking to break him away from Waller very soon.
