CM Punk WWE TV Return Date Officially Confirmed After Clash At The Castle WWE

The WWE TV return for CM Punk has been officially confirmed after he made a controversial appearance at Clash at the Castle.

During the post-Clash press conference, CM Punk noted that he was planning to miss tonight’s WWE Raw to see doctors, and then appear at SmackDown in Chicago, hopefully to announce he’s medically cleared.

Earlier today, Allstate Arena announced that Punk would indeed be making an appearance.

However, when a venue announces someone will appear, it often doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be on TV – it could just be for pre or post-show dark segments.

However, during Raw tonight, WWE officially confirmed that Punk will be on SmackDown on TV this coming Friday night.

The appearance creates an intriguing dynamic after SmackDown commentator Wade Barrett seemed to be the person who was second-most outraged by Drew McIntyre’s loss in Glasgow, Scotland.

Barrett went so far as to call for Punk’s firing on the post-show, perhaps teasing a future interaction, which could happen on SmackDown.
