WWE Seth Rollins been confirmed for a match at July’s WWE Money in the Bank event with his opponent being revealed.
Despite only just making his return for the first time since WrestleMania on WWE Raw tonight, Seth Rollins already has a match announced for Money in the Bank 2024.
Making a surprise return to kick off tonight’s June 17 episode of Raw, Seth Rollins greeted the crowd before mentioning that he was concerned with his legacy.
And his first move upon returning to WWE is wanting to get back to the World Heavyweight Championship.
While he was positing that he knew a thing or two about the Money in the Bank ladder match and successfully cashing in – having done it himself at WrestleMania 31 – he was interrupted by Damian Priest.
The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion said that he was glad Seth was back, but when the exchange turned more contemptuous, Priest made Rollins an offer.
Priest informed Seth Rollins he could subvert the entire Money in the Bank ladder match process and simply offered Rollins a one-on-one title match at the upcoming premium live event in Toronto instead.
While Rollins was at first skeptical, when Priest urged that there were not only no strings but he intended on no Judgment Day involvement either (“man to man”), the match was made official.
