Triple H Comments On WWE Title Change

It wouldn’t be a WWE title change without a photo from Triple H and he didn’t disappoint after the June 24 episode of Raw.

After Liv Morgan convinced R-Truth to put the Awesome Truth’s WWE World Tag Team Championships on the line against Judgment Day, her involvement would see new champions crowned on WWE Raw.

The match can be seen below this news story, with R-Truth teasing a rematch at WWE SummerSlam in Cleveland.

Triple H shared a photo on Twitter with the new champions, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor, with the comment:

“The Judgment Day holds tag team championship gold once again… by any means necessary.

“Congrats to @FinnBalor and @jd_mcdonagh, your NEW World Tag Team Champions. #WWERaw”

The WWE World Tag Team Championships marks the first time McDonagh has held main roster gold having previously been NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

The victory on WWE Raw sees Finn Balor as a three-time WWE World Tag Team Champion having previously held the title with fellow Judgment Day member Damian Priest.

At WrestleMania 40 in April 2024, Balor and Priest entered as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

They would lose the Raw Tag Team Championship to The Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) and the SmackDown Tag Team Championships to A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller).
