WWE/AEW AEW’s Dax Harwood turns 40 this week and received an early gift courtesy of his wife Maria and his FTR tag partner Cash Wheeler.
Harwood is currently sidelined through a career-threatening injury and recently thanked AEW’s Tony Khan, among others, for their support.
With his 40th birthday approaching on June 30, Harwood shared a touching moment on social media.
In the video, which can be seen below this news story, he reveals that Maria and Wheeler arranged an early gift for him in the form of WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, tweeting:
“Maria & Cash got me a gift for my 40th birthday.
“Never in a million years did I think I’d get to this point in my career, but here we are.
“What a life. Love you all.”
In the video, Harwood can be seen pretty much minding his own business when he catches sight of The Hitman who is initially off camera.
The AEW star’s surprise is heartwarming as his wife giggles at the moment off camera, then Hart comes into the shot to embrace Harwood, who can’t contain his surprise at the moment.
