Former WWE Name Reintroduces Himself After AEW Return

Former WWE Name Reintroduces Himself After AEW Return WWE/AEW

Former WWE signing EJ Nduka has commented on his AEW TV return, following this week’s Collision episode.

Nduka appeared alongside AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland for his weigh-in segment with Will Ospreay on the June 29 Collision episode.

A brawl ultimately broke out, with Ospreay dropping Strickland with a Hidden Blade ahead of their scheduled title match.

EJ Nduka made his AEW in-ring debut at a January 2023 Dark taping. He has competed in several dark (non-televised) matches for AEW since then, most recently returning to the promotion with a victory over Marcus Mathers ahead of Wednesday’s Dynamite episode.

Nduka took to Twitter after Collision to share a photo of himself with the AEW World Champion’s camp, writing:

As advertised. Allow me to reintroduce myself.

I AM THE JUDGE. #AEW #AEWCollision

Nduka had been signed to WWE in 2020 where he only competed in house show matches on the NXT brand before being released from the company in May 2021.

Strickland will defend his AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay at Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

As advertised.

Allow me to reintroduce myself.
