WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Tired Of Being Right’ After AEW Dynamite

WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Tired Of Being Right’ After AEW Dynamite WWE/AEW

Former AEW name and WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has slammed fans following the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Yesterday’s AEW Dynamite saw Will Ospreay put the AEW International Championship on the line against Daniel Garcia who was accompanied by MJF for the show’s main event.

As can be seen in the highlights below, Garcia was unsuccessful in his bid to dethrone Ospreay, but it was MJF who proved a bigger threat with a post-match attack on the defeated star.

The attack saw Garcia wheeled out by medical personnel and taken to a Chicago hospital with AEW’s Twitter account reporting:

“After receiving a brutal attack at the hands @The_MJF TONIGHT on #AEWDynamite, @garciawrestling was taken to a Chicago hospital for evaluation.

“He has regained consciousness, and is still under observation for cervical injuries.”

Mark Henry has reacted to Garcia’s presence on AEW Dynamite and taken a swipe at critics, tweeting:

“I am tired of being right. I made a comment that if I was going to start my own wrestling company that Daniel Garcia would be in my top 10! I got called the AEW ass kisser!

“What do you think now?He is in the ring with two of the best guys. Like a champ he fought like a champ! Did the job and still got over.

“Everybody will be talking about Daniel Garcia tomorrow.”

In November 2023, Mark Henry heaped praise on Garcia, putting him in the “top five” young stars he would hire if he was to start his own wrestling company.

Henry joined AEW in 2021 and would remain with the company until his contract expired in May 2024.

In comments made after his departure, he stated he was “working on something big“.
