WWE Ahead of her title match at NXT Heatwave, NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan has reflected on her debut anniversary.
At NXT Battleground 2024, Kelani Jordan defeated Fallon Henley, Lash Legend, Michin, Jaida Parker and Sol Ruca to become the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion.
Since then, Jordan was successful in her first title defence against Michin on the June 18 edition of WWE NXT.
Ahead of her title defence on a premium live event, Kelani Jordan took to social media to reflect on the anniversary of her WWE NXT debut. She wrote:
One year ago today, I made my NXT debut , and in 3 days, I walk into Heatwave as a champion.
Never underestimate how much hard work and dedication can change everything for the better in a year.
#WWENXT
On the June 25 episode of NXT, Sol Ruca beat Arianna Grace to become the number one contender for the Women’s North American Championship.
